- Last week during the service, as it started to get dark, I noticed the beacon lights on the tower glowing in the gathering gloom. By the close of the service, it was dark, and it was a nice sight to see the lights shining out into the darkness. It got me thinking about beacons, what they are, and how they affect our lives.
